Stoats began with an idea in 2004 to serve fresh porridge at music festivals. They knew that porridge would make a healthy, filling and tasty eating option, so they decided porridge was the future (and quite a cool way to spend the summer). Bob and Tony got a cute wee mobile porridge bar and started selling freshly made porridge right across the UK, and festival audiences loved it (and still do - look for the biggest queue at breakfast and you've found Stoats Porridge).
Not long after this, they were talking to their customers at festivals and they said it would be great if they started to make oat bars that they could have with their afternoon tea or coffee. They wanted something filling, tasty and all-natural, packed with energy and goodness that would fuel them for the rest of the day...so they made it.It became clear that oat dealing was easy - all they had to do was listen to their customers and make what they wanted.
