The Consett Popcorn Company is an artisan producer of gourmet popcorn aimed primarily at the adult market (although kids seem to love it too!).
The Consett Popcorn Company popped into existence in April 2009.Based in northern County Durham, the company was founded by husband-and-wife team Richard and Catherine Furze. They haven't been popping popcorn all their lives - Richard works in IT and Catherine used to be a journalist before she saw the error of her ways and dedicated her time to popping Corn Again.
