Our heritage is probably the best advocate for what make Giant Bars special: Selling for over 30 years is proof of how loved our products are, standing the test of time. It starts with quality natural ingredients, tasty recipes, large variety, generous size and value. Giant Bars are delicious, colourfully presented, playful. They literally appeal to all ages and all walks of life – or as we say “everyday people”. And now we’re on a mission to take Giant Bars to the mainstream to become the go-to flapjack brand on shelves.
Giant Bars are the product of true entrepreneurial spirit. In the early 90’s our founder Sam Jacobi turned a nutty flapjack recipe he found in Woman’s Own magazine into what is today a multi-million-pound business. From his home in London, Sam made these bars and took them to local shops. The bars sold so well that he soon had to give up his job to organise full production and manage the growing business.Over the years the Giant Bars portfolio grew to over 20 flavours – each one created by Sam himself; and sales have grown through a network of wholesalers in the UK as well as exports to over 15 countries around the world. After some years, moving from London to Bristol allowed the business to build a bespoke bakery in a high spec facility to meet the still growing demand for our amazing bars. Today Sam is still at the helm, innovating and creating more exciting flavours and ideas for the Giant Bars range.
